Atlantic Hotel Muenster

With the ATLANTIC Hotel, a new hotel hotspot has been created in Muenster between urban newbuilds and historic building stock, with a central location on the Promenade – the lively green belt of the city centre. For Brumann, as executive planner and general contractor, this was almost like a home game, as our location in Ascheberg is in the immediate vicinity of the Westphalian metropolis.

The special magic of the location was the inspiration for our interior design – an elegant, modern concept fusing classic Westphalian references and vibrant urban style into an eclectic stylistic mix. Thus the hallways of typical Westphalian farmhouses served to inspire the large, open-plan ground floor – filigree structures reminiscent of wooden frameworks divide the room into functional zones, and the open grill in the Atlantic Grill Room’s open-cooking restaurant has echoes of a typical hearth fire, with tables grouped around it in geometric formations against the red brick walls. Combined with contemporary design furniture, a co-working zone and the freestanding reception desk, the result is a harmonious and innovative style ensemble.

The 224 bedrooms and suites offer all the amenities and comfort of a contemporary 4-star superior hotel – the elegant parquet flooring, natural materials and harmonious earth tones and neutrals make them warm, relaxing havens that are especially inviting after a stroll around the city or a break in the elegant ATLANTIC wellness area.

On the top floor, in addition to the 380-m² Engelsaal with its state-of-the-art events technology, the ATLANTIC offers a further spectacular highlight: over cocktails and drinks, the ATLANTIC Skybar with its elegant ambience of dark blue velvet and gleaming brass offers a breathtaking view over the city rooftops. This attraction thrills not only foreign guests, but also local Muenster residents, and has quickly become the new place to be in the city.
