Severin’s 5-star Superior Resort & Spa is considered one of the best locations on the island of Sylt. The luxury complex in Keitum was completely planned, newly built and opened in 2014. As the general contractor, Brumann was responsible for this ambitious project from the overall planning of the interior design to its implementation.
On Sylt, great emphasis is placed on high-quality architecture. The lavishly planned hotel complex with fantastic views over the Wattenmeer mudflats is situated in the best location in Keitum, on an extensive site between Tipkenhoog and Ingewai. Several thatched single buildings house the 60 or so comfortably sized rooms and apartments ranging from 40 to 100 m2. Guests can also make use of a 1,000-m2 spa, reception, restaurants and bars, as well as a banqueting and conference area.
Our teams spent almost two years planning the overall interior design for all areas and creating mock up rooms. Exclusive materials and the contemporary Sylt style characterise the concept, which brings the colours of the beach, dunes and sky into the rooms and conveys an atmosphere of casual, summery elegance with exclusive, sustainable materials.
A milestone in the contemporary luxury hotel business on Germany’s most beautiful island – and a project that was a complete pleasure.
